| This resource contains reviews and links to the best marketing tools, service and resources according to the editors of Web Digest For Marketers. There are 40 categories, including: Who's Who In SEO Experts, Email Marketing, Internet Consultant's Toolbox, PPC, CRM, PR, Copywriting and Best Of Google Tools and Tips for Internet Marketers. If you're looking to lay your hands on a site review you read in Web Digest For Marketers, chances are quite good you'll find that review here. Disclosure: This site is owned and operated by the publisher of Web Digest For Marketers. The opinions expressed here are apt to be biased, especially when we say this resource is the greatest thing since carbon copy paper. ;)
| Magilla Marketing is marketing curmudgeon Ken Magill's weekly email newsletter covering all things email. He's kind of like the Lewis Black of the email industry - just don't get him started or you're in for an earful. Magilla Marketing regularly covers the trials and tribulations of the "stupid media" which can't quite seem to get a grip on the business issues facing email marketers. For example, a recent headline read, "AND THE AWARD FOR THE most parasitic, calculated, industry-killing company that cynically plays on parents' fears to get business goes to..." You'll also find coverage of new email services and analysis of branded email marketing efforts and what went wrong (or right). This publisher considers it a must read.

Looking for a marketing chart to make a point? We knew this site existed, but it was hard to find. It was worth it,
however, as it can best be described as a topic-specific directory for marketing charts. It's categorized in two ways:
- By major media formats, such as television, print, interactive, etc.; and
- By topic, with dozens to choose from ranging from affiliate marketing to youth.
Explore any category and you will find the latest and greatest reports from all over the Web, accompanied by - you
guessed it - all kinds of charts. Some charts are published within the context of original articles, while others can be
downloaded right to your desktop. For example, a click on the Email category led to recent articles/charts published by
PitneyBowes, the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Hitwise. Topics ranged from use of snail mail vs. email to impact of
direct mail vs. email to the demographic makeup of Gmail's audience.
In addition, Marketing Charts publishes a new chart every day, which you can receive by email. The information appears
to be compiled from data supplied by Nielsen/NetRatings AdRelevance. MarketingCharts is a joint venture between
MediaBuyerPlanner LLC and Watershed Publishing LLC, the publisher of MarketingVOX.com.

In this editor's opinion, there is no better place to search for executive-level marketing jobs and/or recruiters than
this site, which specializes in $100K+ positions. The job listings are submitted by companies and recruiters at no cost
to them; the job seeker pays a subscription fee to access those listings. (A limited number of job listings can be viewed
at no cost, subscription fees start at $30/month.)
Within your personal paid account, you can post a profile, which allows recruiters to view selected information about
you and request a resume if interested in getting to know you. There are also many ways to be proactive and reach out to
companies and recruiters as well.
This editor ponies up for a yearly subscription to this site just to keep tabs on what's going on in the industry, and
honestly, they should comp me just for that plug. :) BTW, Marketing Ladders is just one arm of this innovative company -
there are similar specialized sites for HR, Sales, Technology, Ops and more.
| MarketingHire.com is a one-stop shop for marketing, PR and sales job leads and career-building tools and resources. As a division of marketing portal Marketing Today, it also offers access to the latest news on marketing issues, strategies, tactics and trends. And as part of the Marketing Career Network (an alliance that includes the American Marketing Association, Business Marketing Association, American Advertising Federation and Promotion Marketing Association), by using this site you can search and apply for all positions listed by these associations without cost or membership requirements. Just launched at the time of writing, there were still a few little quirks to work out, but all in all it's a robust resource to put on your radar screen.

| Micropersuasion is a blog about how social media is transforming marketing, media and public relations. For those of you who have been under a rock lately, social media refers to people-driven content, community and marketing online, such as blogging, RSS, social networking, mobile marketing and more. It is written by Steve Rubel, who is also the editor of "Ad Age's" Digital column and who was hired by Edelman PR to bring his social media insights to their clients.

You need to know about Facebook, iPhone, mobile marketing, text messaging and and all that stuff the
"young'uns" do, but perhaps it seems like a wildly fragmented universe of technology with little or no
marketing context. Well, you might like the mTrends blog, which is all about the "mobile media lifestyle" -
the products, the users and the shakers. Even reading a post a day could quickly get you up to speed on Twitter, Fring,
Winksite... and what this all means to today's marketing, which (in this editor's opinion) is a lot more than you might
think. As the blog implies, the world is moving to a mobile media lifestyle, and this is one way to keep up with the
trend.

If you're in the business of selling something to someone (and who isn't?), Multichannel Merchant is an online and
offline publication all about the multiple channels in which selling takes place. This editor considers it to be a
must-read because it basically covers everything a marketer does.
Categories include: Print Channel (there's even a subcategory here devoted to "Paper", for goodness sakes);
Web Channel (email marketing, creative, SEO, etc.); Retail Channel; Cross Channel and Ops & Fulfillment. There are
also excellent guides to what are considered to be multichannel vendors, although as you can imagine, many of these
vendors are either marketing firms or firms of interest to marketers. A good resource that should not be overlooked by
marketers - it's not just about retail.
Remember the old Catalog Age magazine? Well, this is Catalog Age with a swizzy new name and focus to
reflect this multichannel world in which live.
| Nooked was created because the founders uncovered an untapped niche in the market - they discovered that few PR and marketing departments were providing RSS channels, and when they did, they were generally not well-managed and offered limited ROI reporting. Thus this online service was born, which enables any company to create and publish an RSS feed and automatically syndicate it to more than a dozen news services. In addition, the Nooked FeedWizard gives you the power to send personalized and branded messages and feeds per subscriber and provides detailed metrics on RSS initiatives, including the ability to track subscriptions, daily trends, RSS clickthrough rates and customer content preferences. Levels of service range from bare bones, no-cost RSS feed capabilities to standard, pro or enterprise, which comes with all the bells and whistles and rings in at $149/month(US). Nooked is now used by many major companies to handle corporate RSS communications, and as a result the Nooked RSS Directory is considered by many to be the "go to" place to find RSS feeds of interest to marketing types.
| Interested in podcasts as a marketing tool? Then you'll love this series of podcasts about the marketing potential of podcasts (and lots of other marketing topics as well). At the time of writing, 83 episodes were available from the American PodCast Network (an America Web Works' company), which calls itself the "podcasting voice of today's leading Internet & PodCast marketing solutions and technologies". The shows are hosted by radio personality and "International Master Marketer" Dr. Tony Marino, and cover everything from driving visitors to your website to viral marketing to writing better email marketing copy. Innovative and well-worth your time, both for ideas on packaging podcasts and for the content contained within.
